Hello,

If the site does not have a guide to cross posting, please educate me.  I will then take that knowledge and produce a how to guide, complete with what qualifies you for cross posting and lots of screen shots.  I produce quite a number of guides in a month as a "digital fireman."  As I mentioned elsewhere, I have seasons of downtime where I could be making a how to for the site.  That way you can point and say, "Over there" when someone new wants to learn how to "drive" on the site.

If you already have one, great.  Where is it?  I did a search and the feedback for "cross posting" gave me mostly discussions on what should and should not be done, etc, but not a how to.

If anybody has something they want done up as a how to, I am available to do the basic editing, give advice, etc.  This applies to new people too.  Just let me know.

It doesn't really need a guide.

If you have the ability to cross post, you will have an 'add to forum' button at the top of a thread with a drop down menu by its side.

Use the menu to select which forum you'd like to add the thread to then click the 'add to forum' button.

Repeat if necessary.

If a permie does not have pie

Click the button on the first post of your thread.

Then, in the little pop-up that comes up, write a note like "Hi staff.  Please add this thread to recycling, upcycling and fruit trees."

If a permie does have pie

Go to the top of the thread you want cross-posted. You'll see a little drop-down menu that says "add to forums." Select the drop-down.

It'll open up a menu. Scroll down and pick a forum that you want it added to. Select that forum, and then click "add to forum." You can repeat this to add it to another forum.

Thank you Nicole, deeply appreciated.

This place is like the TARDIS from Dr. Who.  There is always a new room to explore, lol.
