Making Apple Cider with a Washing Machine

If this isn't a Permies thing, I don't know what is. Yes...cider one step with a washing machine, without breaking the machine either.

I like how one machine both chops the apples and presses the mash.  I don't like how the food is passing through the non food-grade innards of a used washing machine before being ready to eat.  

I'd be up for taking a SS washing machine basket, adding the teeth and making a frame to hold and spin it and let the juice spin out into a tub that is cleanable (no pump and no corrugated hose).  Then you get the same dual functions while still having it cleanable and food gradeish.
