Hi everyone.

I was wondering if there's a reason why my list of Pie isn't updating. My last received pie listed was due to my 100th apple, but I have received at least one slice since then.

If this is an issue that requires correction, consider this my bringing it to the attention of Permies staff.

If I am doing something dumb, please let me know.

Otherwise, thanks for all your help.

At this time, PIE slices are automatically added every 20th apple.

Could it be you just used up one so the count didn't change when you got the next one?

The list should still name any new ones though.......

That was my point. I don't know if it's even counting gifted pie. I was gifted one for a post in the tinkering forum, but I don't know if it was recorded because there's no date/time stamp and updated expiry.

You do know that you lose a slice of pie each month, right?

I just gave you a piece of pie...did it show on your pie list?

Yes it did, and thanks.

I know I eat a slice every month. My concern was that a slice that I had been notified of hadn't been awarded, although it showed up on the post for which it was awarded.

I hate to be a bother, and I don't really care about one slice. It's more that if a system had glitched and might be a symptom of a larger problem, I figure you'd want to know, soonest.

Thanks again for all the work we members don't see.

Although I just noticed that when you gave me the new slice, my expiry date was bumped up two months, like it missed accounting for the one slice I mentioned not being credited for.

Then when I regifted the slice, it bumped down only one month. I think something interesting might have happened.

Update: So when I started this, I had seven slices, as Paul noted. Judith gave me one, leaving eight. I gifted one back, leaving seven, only now my count reads six. My pie rollover date is the third of each month, as in, that's the expiry day.

Please let me know what's going on. I seem to be losing pie.

The exact time the rollover happens on the site could be off by several hours. So, in some months it could be on the the third day, and in the other months it could be on fourth, or second. Apparently it happens yesterday for you. However, you won't run out of pie until the exact expiration date and time mentioned on the pie page.

Good to know. As long as everything is as it should be, I'm satisfied.  Sorry for any extra legwork.

And on my birthday, too! Thanks! You can stick candles in a pie, too, right?
