This Year the AERO Expo will be held in Missoula Montana on from Oct 26-28th

The Expo, entitled “Seeds of Sustainability in the Garden City,” will feature a keynote from UC Berkeley professor of Agroecology Dr. Miguel Altier, as well as lots of cool tours, great food from the Silk Road, networking with like minded sweethearts, talks and workshops with local greats (including Paul Wheaton), and square-dancing with the Beet Tops!

On Friday, attendees can choose from 4 different tours of innovative breweries, sustainable ranches, aquaponics systems, a local tool library, and educational programs focused on the future of agriculture and energy in the Missoula area.

Saturday features talks and workshops from Montana’s innovators, solar specialists, home aquaponics farmers, and other DIY-heroes. The day will focus heavily on workshops designed to pass on the valuable knowledge these presenters have gained in their focus areas.

Sunday brings the task force meetings, to give members the chance to plan out the next steps towards focused renewable energy and agriculture in our local communities.

If you are looking to get more deeply involved, AERO is currently looking for future board members to help promote our mission of creating a more sustainable Montana.

The AERO Expo is always an awesome event, but the Missoula location this year should put it over the top. We are very excited!!!

Dr. Miguel Altieri originated the term "agroecology" with his book by that title in the '80's.

How. Inspiring.

Here's Paul! I was sitting off to the side, so I didn't have the best angle for including the audience, too.
