!!! In the quiet hours of the bootcamp grind, I found myself: Esteban's Bootcamp Experience

B.E.L. Post # 52

After the morning cleaning blitz, I shifted into steady hands-on work for the day. I processed three full crates of woody bits for the rocket mass heaters, keeping the fuel stash organized and ready for the colder days ahead. I also continued processing aluminum cans, slowly but surely chipping away at the pile.

Later on, I bucked further logs for firewood — solid, honest work that always feels grounding and productive.

To balance things out, the afternoon eased into a quieter rhythm. I spent some time reading and journaling, then wrapped things up by chilling with my little dog Chapito, enjoying the calm and the simple company.

hi esteban ,wow  v. kind words, thanks alot!,     well I am a Quantum energy healer nad teacher many yrs. and can feel people and animals and earth on a Higher level of consciousness, and your soul is very evolved, coming  from the cosmos....not earth , so you are very caring, highly intelligent , psychic, sensitive, magnificent being of LIGHT,  and may travel the world to get to know this planet better.... and you love animals aND NATURE!!.. ..

so welcome to Earth!.... its been quite a Mr toads wild ride (for many of us Light bringers)....rumi sends you a big smile and wants you to throw his stick or frisbi   .. we live close to  Gold Beach OR way down close to CAlif.  ....   I was born in Serbia to a big  farm family (BG and Hungarian)  and I love animals dearly....    lived around the world working in Architectural firms...   but from 2020 when 5G cell towers were being rolled out and all this wifi  it hurt my health, the microwave radiation freq's are way too hard to endure.  living in the country is so much safer...   like you guys are.
....    now here I am feeling much better than the big city in eastern WA. we lived many yrs...

After the morning meeting, we headed up to the Abbey and got right to work clearing the downed junk pole fencing in preparation for rebuilding. We made great progress and managed to clear out roughly 70 feet of fencing—solid teamwork and steady effort all around.

Since it was baking day, we shifted gears in the afternoon and made molasses cookies along with chocolate chip cookies. While everything baked, we settled in and watched a Christmas movie.

Thank you so much for your beautiful, generous words. I truly felt them as I read your message — they landed softly and warmly in my heart. Your way of seeing and sensing the world is a gift, and I’m grateful you chose to share that perspective with me.

This Earth ride certainly has been a wild one, and it’s comforting to know there are so many kind, luminous beings walking it with care, curiosity, and love for all creatures — human, animal, and otherwise. Your connection to animals, land, and energy comes through so clearly, and it makes perfect sense that the quiet of the countryside has helped you heal and settle again. Nature really does know how to hold us when we listen.

Please give Rumi a big smile and a good throw of the stick or frisbee from us — he sounds like a wonderful soul companion. Missoula truly is special, and it’s lovely to know you and Rumi passed through there together.

you are a wonderful being and a super expressive writer..... hope you write your journals in a ebook format one day for people globally to be able to enjoy, learn, and see earth in a loving higher freq. as you do and to take care of her lil natural world.      
 (now i have to go clean mold off wood floors, (w/ 46% vinegar) many window sills and wall in this cute 1950 cottage rental -has incredible ocean view but poorly maintained by owner for decades, the OR coast is very limited in good rentals and mold is common on wood structures, should have used bricks ).   have a great night, hugs to your dogi.

Yesterday 12/23

After the morning meeting, we headed over to the shop and got the fire going to warm things up. While we were there, Stephen walked us through how to safely operate the router, going over proper setup and safety considerations before use.

After that, Molly and I were tasked with making two signs—one for deliveries and another for landfill and recycling. We took our time laying them out and working through the process step by step.

Later on, we headed up to the Abbey to check in on the cats, then continued on to the sawmill site. There, we processed two logs into panels and hauled them back to basecamp.

Once that was wrapped up, we spent the remainder of the boot day continuing work on the wooden burn sign project. We closed out the day together with Tuesday soup bowl day, which was a perfect way to end a full and productive day. 🍲

I’m grateful you see the heart behind the work and the words—it means more than I can say. The idea of one day shaping these journals into something others can hold and feel… that really stirred something hopeful in me. 🌱

Sending you so much respect and encouragement as you take on the mold battle—what a labor of care that is. That little 1950s cottage sounds full of character and stories, even if it’s asking a lot of you right now. An ocean view has a way of making the hard work feel a little more worth it, doesn’t it?
