rocket mass heater L-shaped bench plans free by Erica and Ernie Weisner

You can get these plans HERE through our dailyish freebies!

Here's some more about these plans:

These plans are six pages including photos; scale drawings of the floor plan, elevation, and sections; a cutaway view; and builder's notes on the construction process. They show you how to build a rocket mass heater with L-shaped heated bench, using the rocket mass heater clean-burning and super-efficient wood burning technology. The '6' refers to diameter of heat-exchange ducting.

This design provided the sole heat for an older Portland cottage/apartment of about 800 sf. Erica and Ernie used less than half a cord of salvaged wood per year (local arbor trimmings and building debris) to heat their home for four years in a row. They ran the fire 2 to 4 hours in ordinary cool, rainy weather, and up to 6-8 hours when the weather dropped below 20 F, for constant 24-hour warmth. In summer, the earthen bench was not heated, and instead helped keep the house cooler than it had been in previous years with no need for fans.

If you don't like emails (we get that, though we're bummed!), you can buy it right HERE!

Hi Nicole, it's great that you provide freebies and I really appreciate it, just downloaded the solar station the other day. I've also bought quite a lot on permies.com including the packs from"I can't recall the organisation now" but they put together packs of video, books, courses etc and I think they call them infostack or something? Anyway I'm finding it really hard to locate where to download the plans here for Erica and Ernie's rocket mass heater.
I even had the same problem when I paid for it on one of the info stacks. Paul Wheaton never got back to me about it and the person that runs the info stack offerings couldn't provide me with a solution either. Seems only fair that I should finally get access to this content seeing as I paid for it she all l ago. Why is it still not available even though I'm logged in?  Kind regards
Michael

I think you're talking about that place that shut down a few years back, started with an S, I think. .... Ah-ha! It was called Scubbly. Looks like it shut down 3 years ago?

We don't have any access to who bought what from them--or at least, I sure don't! Looking at your My Stuff, you currently have the Solar Station plans and the PDF of the Playing Cards.

The both the rocket mass heater manual and Rocket Mass Heater Plans are available through the freebies, so  you should be getting those in your email through the dailyish.

I think this is the plan you bought  through Scrubbly: Ernie and Erica Wisner's Rocket Mass Heater Everything Combo. Looks like it's $75 here on permies? I honestly have no idea if the records of what was sold at Scrubbly can be transferred over to permies. I don't even know if there are records. I honestly know nothing about Scrubbly, other than that it was shut down rather unexpectedly, sorry!

What do you have to say for yourself? Hmmm? Anything? And you call yourself a tiny ad.
