This is a badge bit (BB) that is part of the PEP curriculum.  Completing this BB is part of getting the straw badge in Textiles.

Demonstrate how to add a patch to worn/torn fabric so that it is invisible from the right side.

To complete this BB, the minimum requirements are:
 - patch an item of clothing (or bedding, etc.)
 - patch is on the "wrong-side" or back of the fabric
 - patch is invisible from the right-side

To document your completion of the BB, provide proof of the following as pictures or a video (less than two minutes):
 - the damaged material
 - the material(s) and tool(s) you used
 - how you did the mending
 - the same piece after mending laid flat or being worn

Here is my submission for the Textiles - Straw - Add an Invisible Patch to Repair Clothing BB.

To document the completion of the BB, I have provided the following images and video:
- the damaged material
- the material(s) and tool(s) you used
- how you did the mending
- the same piece after mending laid flat or being worn

The video is partially narrated so here is some more info.
The first picture is of a shirt that will be used for the repair and a pair of jeans with a pair of scissors in the hole to be repaired.
The second photo is of the same pair of jeans with the patch inside and zig-zag stitches - not very invisible - but functional and temporary.
Photo three: back to the sewing machine and lots of straight stitches to machine darn the repair.
Then to the video showing the removal of the surrounding zigzag stitches and extra patch material from the inside of the pant leg.
Then the outside of the pant leg showing the finished and invisible repair.

This BB is being retired and this thread locked, but anyone who has this BB already will still get credit for it.
