- The repair must be sewn without glues or goop.

The stitching in my leather work gloves busted out, so I repaired it.

Ripped seam in thumb of right glove.

To make the mend, I sewed it with cotton carpet thread.

I turned the glove inside out and used pliers to pull the needle through.

I pulled open some stitching in my beekeeping gloves. Which was not really an issue until it suddenly was big enough to be decent access for bees. Bees in my glove is not really fun.
