This is a badge bit (BB) that is part of the PEM curriculum.  Completing this BB is part of getting the sand badge in Gardening.

Traditional gardens work really well when you have plants growing in them.  In a short season, some crops are better suited for transplanting while others do better when started from seed.  You don't need to grow these seedlings from seed yourself if you're not ready for that.  Sometimes the tags have planting information, otherwise the internet is here to help you.  Let's transplant some veggies!

Minimum requirements:
  - Plant 3 different species of culinary seedlings in a garden
  - Planted in the ground or a raised garden bed
  - At least 6" of growth

Provide proof of the following as pictures or video (<2 min):
  - The area prior to planting
  - The three species of seedlings prior to planting
  - Freshly planted seedlings
  - One example of each species with clearly at least 6" of growth

Can't argue with that!

I'm starting with seeds indoors, will transfer the seedlings to a garden in a month or so.  Seed starting:

(1) Tomatoes.   (2) Sunflowers.  (3)  Peppers.

Pics to follow.
