Raw
wood is pretty but it doesn't resist dirt and
water all that well. What did they do in the olden days? One option comes from
bees. Let's make some beeswax wood finish!
Here's one way to do it:
Mike's note: A teacher suggested to me that
apple cider vinegar, salt, walnut oil and beeswax mixed together hot and applied hot was his favorite recipe.
Minimum requirements:
- Make a cup of beeswax finish
- Use only natural ingredients (beeswax, vinegar, oil, etc)
Provide proof of the following as pictures or
video (<2 min):
- The ingredients you're going to use
- Melting the beeswax
- Finished beeswax finish
- A piece of wood treated with the finish
