This is a badge bit (BB) that is part of the PEM curriculum.  Completing this BB is part of getting the Straw badge in Traditional Skills.

They didn't have plastic hundreds of years ago but they did have materials that could hold their shape like plastic.  Let's make a spoon from a cow horn!

Here's one way to do it:

Minimum requirements:
  - Make a spoon from cow horn
  - Make a mold to shape it with
  - Smooth and polished
  - Deep enough to hold a teaspoon of liquid
  - This needs to be a pretty nice spoon you'd give as a gift and expect it to be used or displayed
  - This bb can only use materials that existed 200 years ago

Provide proof of the following as pictures or video (<2 min):
  - The horn you're starting with
  - The spoon mold wood you're starting with
  - The finished mold
  - The spoon midway through construction
  - The finished spoon with a cooking teaspoon next to it for volume comparison
