Permaculture Cooks for Wheaton Labs Events

food at wheaton labs events

Paul is looking to hire 3 cooks, one for each event. Here's the details!

  • This is a paid role. Plus, you get a ticket to whatever future event you wish to attend!
  • The cook will manage the procuring and preparing of 3 meals a day (Paul will, off course, pay for groceries--just keep the budget tight)
  • All food will be organic or better. More on the sort of food at served at Wheaton Labs. Note the lovely breakfasts!
  • Preferably someone who's been a good contributor here at permies (supporting kickstarters or is a Pollinator, etc)

  • Here's some awesome food cooked at the 2017 PDC:

    The Events

Permaculture Design Course (PDC) Taught by Alan Booker, this PDC assumes that the student is desiring a course with a bit more substance and grit. This PDC is designed for scientists, engineers, educators or people with a lot of current knowledge of permaculture. If you're looking for an in-depth PDC, look no further!

Permaculture Technology Jamboree (PTJ) The Permaculture Technology Jamboree is a place for both inovators and those that want to learn from them. There will be collaboration, experimentation and innovation to move permaculture technology forward. In addition, there will be experiences for people new to permaculture technology who want to build homesteading skills.

SKills to Inherit Property (SKIP) SKIP is a curriculum of experiences you can complete to prove you can do permaculture.  While a PDC  teaches you how to do permaculture design and analysis, SKIP is hands-on.  You are learning through the process of creating something useful and tangible.

If you are interested in this position, please fill out this survery.
Make sure to comment and let us know that you have filled it out, because Google doesn't tell us.

I filled out the survey, my wife and I would make a great team, she’s a better cook then I. That is if you’d be willing to house our children and us for the duration.
I could bring my milk goats as well for fresh milk. Though that’s completely optional.

We are currently discussing having a Rocket Mass Heater workshop for October it hasn't been confirmed yet.

Please submit this form since we will be using the same pool of applicants, I doubt we will be making a new request for applications.

    Yes!

What I don't understand is how they changed the earth's orbit to fit the metric calendar. Tiny ad:
