He is risen indeed. Alleluia! If anyone here is familiar with the church calendar, then you’ll know that Easter Sunday marks the end of lent. Death is defeated, and new life has been resurrected. It always makes me appreciate that awfully wonderful, excitingly terrifying, intensely focused disinterest that is the paradox of existence. The processes and systems that are created here to facilitate life and abundance are reliant on constant death and decay. In the war on coniferous trees as we fight to give deciduous trees a foothold, there have been heavy casualties. But in death, the conifer finds its resurrection and redemption. The majority of our construction uses lumber harvested here. The hugelkultur beds that grow most of the new things we plant here are giant tree burial mounds. In their new life these dead trees become something else, something new, living to a higher purpose. I could go on with the allegory ad nauseam, but I think that’ll do.
Breakfast was grilled cheese with an egg inside. I made coffee drinks for those present with my thrift store espresso machine. A drip coffee with a shot of espresso for Stephen, americano for Jared, and a classic latte for myself. The post blitz buzz has me enjoying a nice clean library desk from which to write this post.
Until next time,
Seth.
I realized that I was creating new threads for each of my posts, this is going to be my official BEL thread from here on.

Pine pollen is very nutritious I believe, and is also sold as a health supplement. I'm sure I read a post from a lady who was gathering her pollen and selling it, somewhere on permies but I can't find it now. This thread: https://permies.com/t/158112/Pine-Tree-Pollen is perhaps another starting point.
