Also enjoy the alliterative poem I just wrote:

Mondays may meander among muddled mugs
but bright eyed boots build around baby bugs,
though thin-waisted thespians theoretically thug,
handsome-faced heroes hand out huge hugs.

BEL #34 Thursday 29 May, 2025

Today was thirsty Thursday, but mostly because it was hot. The plants all over that lab seem to be pretty thirsty too, considering the water problems we’ve been having. On the bright side, I do know that my upper arm strength has at least doubled. Catherine, Matt, and I repaired fencing at the abbey this morning. Shawn and I planted two mulberry trees today with some $300 holes, water rings, and mini swales. I love mulberries, and chickens love mulberries so I’m invested in their future success. Hopefully the new irrigation system we’re going to try tomorrow will help ensure that they do succeed along with all the others. More updates to come. SC
