The willow feeder system for rotating, storing, and dispersing willow candy at Wheaton labs seems so dialed. The cans are neatly labeled with their start and end dates when put into the willow warehouse and then the cans washed between each use, paired with the 2 year wait for composting give me decent confidence that the stuff coming out is not the same as went in. Enjoy some pictures from the willow trade put this week.
Sunday was a pretty relaxing day all around. I spent most of the day up at the lab where I restocked some wood and hung out at the sauna to do some cleaning, organizing, and relaxing. I'm pleasantly surprised at other people's lack of interest in the sauna. Not that I mind having the place to myself, I'm just surprised I've never had to share. In the afternoon all of us concerned with [carbo]hydration met at base camp to prep, bake, and enjoy some delicious pizzas. Shout out to Stephen for baking everything.
