Hi everyone,

Great site. Well here it goes, I'm a 37 yo male. I live on the Gold Coast in QLD, Australia. I am currently looking to buy 100 acres in Northern NSW.

The Gold Coast is not renowned for meeting girls that would like to move away to the bush and start a Permaculture lifestyle. So am trying to find a like minded one now.

I tried this journey when I was younger but lacked funds to start. I am now in a position where I can start for fulfill some of my dreams.

All I need now is someone to share them with.

Take care

If I were younger (and single) I would go in a heartbeat!!! Good luck -- there has to be more than one woman who loves the idea of homesteading in Australia's bush.

Hi Bronto,
Are you on the Australian Permaculture Research Institute forums http://forums.permaculture.org.au/forum.php ?
They don't have a 'singles' forum as such, but you're more likely to find likeminded people from your part of the world.

Poor you Bronto! I find the same thing but I'm on the Sunny Coast. Good luck with the land purchase.

Hi Bronto,
my name is Rad , 33 year old divorced mom of 2
I just came back to Australia after yet another stay in India where I was staying at Sadhana forest (www.sadhanaforest,org)

I do have an apartment right in Cavill ave where I usually live but I have decided to housesit for a mate in Murwillumbah as I am also trying to find a place (rent at this stage) to get somethng rolling here in the Rainbow region. ( in what I have decided is the "golden triangle" of Murbah, Byron, Casino)

well most guys aren't really looking for a mom with 2 kids, but if you would like a friend who shares the same visions please feel free to say hi, we might be able to share some ideas .

warm regards,
Rad

Good luck with your search mate. I'm in a similar situation so I have also posted to this forum to see where it leads me. So hard to find a nice lady to homestead with. Hamish (near Goondiwindi on the Qld NSW border)

I hear ya guys, I'm in the same boat, based in Mullumbimby.

Oh to find a likeminded soulmate. Surely in the billions of people on the planet there is someone out there...

Have you found your permaqueen yet?!
