Male goat is about a year old but I haven't seen any signs of breeding. She's either pregnant or eats too much. Im not sure how to tell exactly. It's my first run with goats.

It's hard to tell from photos. Different breed from mine too, which makes it trickier. If my goats were bulging like that, I'd think they were pregnant, but mine don't start to look like that until the last month of pregnancy.

It's sometimes possible to tell by lifting the tail and looking at the vulva - if it looks puffed up, then that is often a sign that she's pregnant.

Did you see any signs of when she went in heat or he went in a rut? Was there any point in time when he started to have a strong smell?

The experience with my buck was that in his first year the breeding season was when he was 5-8 months old, and he didn't get them pregnant, but the next year he did.

I guess I should have specified that the picture is of the female but the Male goat I have is a year old.  Bahaha. I haven't seen anything that points to them mating. No rutting behavior... no smells... no goaty weirdness... but man is she big.

Is she always wanting pickles and ice cream?
If yes then pregnant.

If your other goats that aren't pregnant are not so wide then most likely she is. The udder may also appear to have more mass to it.

I'm don't know much about pregnant goats, but goats can bloat like cows. Has her increasing size been gradual over the course of weeks or did she suddenly look like this? If she's active and acting normal, probably not bloat. Apparently there is also a thing called hay belly in goats, and also high parasite loads can cause "round" goats too.

Oh damn. Didn't know that. They get pumpkin seeds pretty regularly but I didn't know about hay belly. Thank you I'll check it out

A year old is plenty old enough for a male goat to breed.

'Tall enough to reach' is about the cut off point, though usually several months of age is required.  My in-laws used to breed goats and they kept several males for stud. They would often use rather young males, and there was a special 'step' in the yard that would be used to help them reach if there was a significant size difference.
