This is what happens when you rummage through boxes of CDs after rummaging through pages of this thread. Can there be such a thing as too much music?

This one I found buried earlier in this very thread. It's a beautiful and haunting song and my research indicates it's at least three hundred years old. (Dreadful Wind and Rain--Jerry Garcia & David Grisman) Two Sisters (folk song) - Wikipedia

"Hoping Machine", lyrics Woody Guthrie, music Jay Farrar:

Another stunning performance of a traditional song, Black is the Color sung by James Fagan, on bouzouki.

Jerron "Blind Boy" Paxton, Texas Traveler.

Such an interesting rhythm with all the triplets--I will have to look closer! I have not heard the banjo played like that before. It's sad that history made banjos such difficult instrument for African Americans up to this day, when they and their ancestors invented the instrument, and good to see some people taking the initiative to change things.

I heard this crazy story about an island of the coast of Africa that had a container full of synthezers fall out of the sky, it led to a unique genre of music on the island of Cab Vierde. This amazing song is an example of the miracle!! It should be in Music of the Moment of coarse.

JOAO CIRILO with the song Po D'Terra
