I want one!
Is there a Permies philanthropist in the house??
Only 14 million pounds / plus tax and it could be mine!!!
Gliding along the gravel Forest service mountain roads... I can see it now!
I'll have the coolest car in Montana!
I could go to eastern Montana and find that roadrunner who is always outsmarting poor Wiley Coyote...
I'll give him a run !!!

Bugatti La Voiture Noire    "The Black Car"

Please contact me though purple moosage when the check is ready!
Thank You
Thomas

Repairs on it when the gravel roads eat it are your responsibility!
Exchange rate may change if you don't buy it fast!

The first thing that comes to mind is....
"write your answer to the Puzzler on a postcard, a two-dollar bill, or on the back window of a Bugatti "Voiture Noir" roadster, and send it to us at Car Talk Plaza...."
maybe it's as easy as finding a cranky sidekick (ooh pick me) and starting a radio show?

If I could have an expensive impractical car, I think I'd want this one  1953 Jaguar modification.  He started with a 1953 Jaguar (which is already one of my favorites) then modified it... And it's purple!!
I'm a cheaper date than you, this one was selling for only $250,000.00  :D
For that I could get a backhoe!! Really rather have one of them.

William Bronson has a point. I think the Bugatti needs a hydraulic system like the lowriders use, so when you are on gravel roads you take it up high, and when you are on the highway you lower it. Plus then you can also do the side to side rocking bit to get chickens or cats or other wildfire off of it... I'm visualizing a raccoon sllllliiiiiding off the side, claws flailing, as the car tips...

Wonder what hydraulics do to the resale value of a Bugatti...

I think I'll just lie down here for a second. And ponder this tiny ad:
A rocket mass heater is the most sustainable way to heat a conventional home
