Hi all!

I'm a 30 y.o. hobby artist & writer currently based in the Willamette Valley.  I enjoy irises, animals, movies, running and trying new vegan food.  I spent about 4 years living and working on a small permaculture farm, about 5 years as a house-cleaner, a few weeks as a Workawayer on an organic farm near Mt Hood and I briefly worked as a crew lead for an outdoor education non-profit in Eugene.  I also have a good deal of sales and front-office experience.  I've raised and cared for muscovies, helped establish veggie and perennial garden plots, helped set up extensive drip-line & trellis irrigation systems, cleared & prepped trails, harvested herbs/veggies/berries/apples/seeds and I've learned how to brew compost tea & make seed-balls.  Oh and I've also pickled/fermented/preserved all sorts of goodies.

Basically, I'm looking to lend someone a hand on their farm/homestead/property in exchange for farm-work, house-cleaning and/or help with farm projects.  I reckon ideally this farm/homestead/property would be somewhere in Western Oregon, but I might be open to Western WA as well.  Also ideally, this work-exchange would begin in the next couple of weeks and last for 6 months minimum.

Anyways, if you think I could help you out OR you've got any good leads, lemme know!

Thanks

Hi Nomi,

I know it's outside of your search idea but you may be interested in checking out this opportunity.

One of the major projects her is establishing a permaculture food production system. It's a group effort and someone who has experience in it could take the lead role.

If you have any questions hit me up
Have a great day!

Nautilus Guild in S.Tacoma WA. 1.68ac at the edge of city but feels rural. Easy access to the mountains and the Sound to explore.

Looking for physical help getting set up; clearing by hand, gardens, fruit guilds, rain harvesting, rain garden, outdoor kitchen, outdoor classroom, greenhouse and nursery, irrigation...

Accomodations are; space for your tent or trailer, bucket to barrel potty, city water, and space to cook and wash.

Everyone is welcome. No drunking, no illegal drugging, no violence.

PM for more
