This is timely -- our property came with a small pond (maybe 25 or 30 feet in diameter).  It needs cleaned out before I'd want to try swimming in it.  Will take a look at this book and see what it says.

I think these chapters are a great bridge between the free version on David's website and the full paid manual.  So if you like the free info and wonder what the paid-for stuff looks like, this is the entrance to the rabbit hole
