Since I've joined I've really only shared my metal working and tool care experiences, but I have been gardening too for a few years now. Here is a big jumble of photos, mostly from last year, of my gardening. I wish I'd taken more photos in earlier years, but oh well. Enjoy!
babies-with-reflective-cover.jpg
I'm holding up a reflective sheet here, it helped to reflect some of the sunlight so the seedlings weren't leaning so much
cheap-green-house.jpg
basil green house - not sustainable or probably super healthy but for a short term solution it worked great
mini-food-forest-(lol).jpg
When I got down on my knees and peered through it felt like I was looking through a little produce forest
trash-potatoes-beginning.jpg
I grew potatoes in a garbage bin last year - lots of fun, and had fun eating the 'trash' potatoes that came out of it
deck-garden.jpg
This is my favorite time of year - when it's impossible to walk on the edge of the deck because there are so many plants.
cucumber.jpg
A cucumber plant from 2017 that did quite well - got several mini cukes off it
oregano-gone-wild.jpg
Some oregano I got for free from the community garden going wild
end-of-season-with-helper.jpg
Clearing out the beds with my helper (she isn't actually that helpful but she's cute)
