Since I've joined I've really only shared my metal working and tool care experiences, but I have been gardening too for a few years now. Here is a big jumble of photos, mostly from last year, of my gardening. I wish I'd taken more photos in earlier years, but oh well. Enjoy!

I found two more photos tonight. This was the first year I ever tried gardening! I grew spinach, beans carrots and lettuce in this little 6x6 plot.

Very nice 👍. Gardening is addictive isn't it? My mom and dad always had a garden, so it was natural for me to grow veggies. I also started out small, but I seem to add something new every year. Thanks for sharing. Happy gardening

Looks great Cam. If your gardening is anything like the metal ornamental ball shown in one of your posts I suspect you'll always have excellent food & a have lot of joy producing it.

Things are reversed a bit for me! We never had a garden, but now that I've been doing it a few years my parents are really getting into it. For the past few years I have been slowly transitioning from a 'normal' garden with miracle grow mix and water soluble fertiliser to a let's build up the soil as best I can type of gardening. I'm reading Gaia's Garden right now and damn is there some cool stuff in there. I love reading about how soil itself is an ecosystem that we can help to build up over time. I've read some of Bryant RedHawk's soil posts too and I've enjoyed every one so far. It's a paradigm shift for sure.

Thanks Mike! I think you may have the wrong person regarding the ornamental ball, I can't remember posting about it. I am forgetful though so if you spot it send it to me

Ou yes I saw that one. I remember thinking 'huh he found a pic on google of a beautiful bowl' then when I saw that he made it I was flabbergasted. Cool stuff.
