I am on here to identify a old spinning/flax wheel.

Welcome to Permies Ruth!  I personally don't know anything about spinning/flax wheels but there is a good chance someone around here does.  I might suggest checking out some of the threads in this section of the forums:  https://permies.com/f/336/textiletools
