I'm sure most of you love in places where you can't really relate to this, but I promise, I'm not blowing you off when I say I can't dig plants or roots yet. This is a view out my window this morning.

That's why Wisconsin is so good at making cheese... too much time inside!
Hoping for some higher Temps for you!

Haha! I lived in Wisconsin for a couple of years (the land where you can tell the quality of a gas station by how squeaky their cheese curds are!) so as foreign as that picture feels to where I am now, I do remember the weather up there.

Though I wonder if you're farther north than I was - in Omro, a little town a bit west of Oshkosh.

Well, that looks like a pretty calming sky.

Of course I've been waiting five months to simply work outside with my gloves off.

But it's deadly dry, and all of a sudden, with Santa Ana type winds, we have ravenous wildfires and tens of thousands of people evacuating from their homes and properties.

So Trace, if you can send that snow our way, I will personally buy you a great big pint of beer.

I'm almost perfectly west of there a couple hours.

I'm out of snow, but I can send you a foot of rain without hurting us a bit.

The weekend's rain will have nearly wiped out the remaining snow drift.  Still, on Friday in NW Minnesota, was able to play with the dogs on that drift in late morning followed by a few passes with the garden tiller in the afternoon!....

Yes please, hook me up with that. I'm making preparations to start trucking water to my place.

That's got to be incredibly frustrating for you Trace.  We have it easy compared to you. I still am right there with you. Normally our last frost date is the end of January. This year we had a good frost at the end of March.  Last weekend it was in the low 60 high 50 and rainy. This weekend mid to high 90, maybe 100 in the next couple of days. Next week they are saying low 80s.  I know I've got it good compared to you. My point is we are all experiencing very strange weather.
I will send my wish for warmth your way. Good luck.
