Benjamin Dinkel wrote:Hi Pablo,
there is already a wiki going in a very similar direction. Wouldn’t it be great to combine efforts and collect it all in one space?

Also, are all the devices listed actually rockets? I haven’t looked at all of it yet, just curious because of the names.

Hi Benjamin.
-Wasn't aware of that thread. I'm new here. So you think I should delete this thread and add the info into the that other one?

-I follow the common denominator stated by Erica (don't remember where) that a stove is a Rocket stove whenever it has an insulated heat riser. I agree with that. What is the definition of rocket stove that you agree with?

-Of the listed devices, some don't have insulated heat riser, for instance: Chuncana stove, Gymse stove and Chilean oven. Perhaps they can be mentioned as "efficient but not rocket"?

Hey Pablo,
good question that you bring up. For me the most important part in a rocket is probably about reaching temperatures of complete combustion, which without an insulated riser you probably don't.

This looks like a great list of rocket mass heater resources that are primarily in Spanish. Thanks for putting it together, Pablo!
