Hey Paul, Originally I had put in for the used Wood Burning Stove 2.0 with my donation. I just got back and opened my package to find out that I received the World Domination Gardening disk set. I had put in the paypal transaction a comment to that effect. I had done the kickstarter for the streaming level of WGD.

We asked amazon to send us back some of the RMH DVDs and 19 of them came back with damaged cases. It looks like they are still okay - the just have a damaged case. So we're selling those super cheap.

Paul,

I paid the $202 on 7/22, then just saw that I was refunded the $202 on 8/22 via Paypal. You sent me my stuff & I'm very happy with it... No idea why I got refunded. I'd be happy to send it again, but especially thought you should know ASAP in case I'm not the only one this happened too...

Thanks,

Mike T Jones

Spent 45 minutes on the phone with paypal. After all that, the bottom line is: paypal says that you need to call them - something rare and wacky happened on your end.

Paul,

I've called paypal twice on the way to work & just sat on hold both times for 30+ minutes until hanging up. Thursday night I emailed them & they haven't gotten back to me. Can I just send you a check at this point?

Thanks,

Mike Jones

Try paypal again. Maybe the problem went away.

I'm not familiar with dwolla... Sent with Paypal again after a few tries. It seems to have worked once I re-typed your email rather than just clicking your email in my paypal history...

When I was on the phone with paypal I tried to suggest that paypal had a brainfart. Because that email was definitely already registered.

It looks like the fundage came through fine today.

Still have good wood stove DVD sets with damaged cases? Great price!

If so, I want one. Please confirm: PayPal to Paul at richsoil.com, with comment for what it's for and shipping address. Anything else needed?

Also, do you have an option to download digital copies or send via something like hightail.com? Once it arrives, I rip DVD and discard. Hate to ship and waste if there's a better way.

Thanks!

See http://woodburningstoves2.com for digital options.

We still have broken case stuff. Yes, my paypal is paul at richsoil.com. Make sure to add the ten bucks for shipping. And, of course, for ten bucks more we throw in a deck of cards

I went rooting around in the boxes .... I found one of the old school mugs (bigger) and twelve of the new mugs. So I updated the first post in this thread to show that the regular mugs are $10 and the last old school mug is $30.

Why does it cost $75 to ship a tshirt or a mug or a deck of cards to Canada for you? It doesn't cost that much for any other U.S. source - I buy all kinds of stuff from the U.S. all the time. I just got a LARGE box from Mountain Rose Herbs in Eugene Or for example...3 lbs of herbs plus size and weight of a BIG cardboard box...shipping was $38.55. So why does it cost you $75 to ship a much smaller and lighter item to Canada? I can't pay $75 shipping for a $5 deck of cards and I doubt many other Canadians would so why put this out of our reach. I confess to wondering why $75 is really your actual shipping cost. You might want to look into alternate methods other than hand delivered by the Queen of England or whatever it is that is costing you $75 right now! (Love ya Paul no offense meant but you are cutting Canadians off completely and I don't think you need to be!)

I remember Eivind bought a case of mugs and it was going to cost $300 to send it to him.

Please note that $300 is more than $75.

And then I sent a single brick to maddy harland, only it was returned for customs stuff.

And, of course, with a flat rate box I can pay the postage and stick it into the mailbox. But for going to canada, I have to pay the higher rate, plus I have to go stand in line at the post office and then fill out customs forms.

Of course, if somebody else wants to sell this stuff, that would be lovely. Maybe they work a deal with shipping to other countries and stuff. They can be much smarter than me about shipping.

Or, maybe somebody in canada should open a business?

Frankly, I would rather work on my permaculture projects than go stand in line at the post office and then fill out customs forms.

Well I don't know why it is so expensive for you, that is unfortunate. I order from U.S. folks on Etsy and Ebay and from companies all over the U.S. several times a month (for many years) both wholesale and retail and none of the shipping is complicated or expensive but maybe it is your post office in a small town or something, who knows. (ETA Also never had anything held at customs and I have bought some strange stuff!) I am about to make a wholesale order of glass bottles (for salve and tincture making) from the U.S. which weigh a LOT and the shipping is less than $75 for many bulky pounds so I don't know. Heck my 6 quart cast iron dutch oven was less to ship from the U.S. (just under $30 USD by Fedex/Purolator ground according to the invoice.) Pity, but I shall live without the cards for now...maybe someday!

I know you are out of men's shirts, but is a high resolution "Weeds. Resistance is fertile" image available to make my own?

Thanks!

Also, any idea when the brick of cards I ordered will ship out?

Happy trails,
