Does anyone want to borrow my ducks?

Would anyone like to "borrow" my Muscovy ducks? I have 2 friendly drakes and 13 laying females. I need to move to Las Vegas for a job and will be back on my farm for next winter. These ducks have been raised by my 3 1/2 year old son and are really his ducks. I am looking for someone who will care for them and enjoy them. They have been raised on organic grain and pasture. I fed them fermented grain this past year and they were laying consistently from January or February till October or November. They are also excellent at hatching and raising ducklings which you could keep to start your own flock or harvest for meat. I have fencing, ponds, hoses, buckets, feed tubs. 206.399.6761

Wow, I'd love to help, but my Portland (OR) yard probably doesn't have enough room for 15 ducks! (Especially given that I've already got 6 hens a cat and a 90 lb dog.) If you think bringing them to Portland is feasible, I could ask around my neighborhood, because I live in Cully, neighborhood of larger lots (some up to one acre, in the city). Our lot is a quarter acre, nothing to sneeze at in this town. . .

Hello does one have to be experienced? I'm looking into getting ducks this year myself. I don't know much of anything about owning ducks and I came across this website just now and what are the odds. I was actually one minute looking at greenhouses on YouTube and then I was glued to my phone reading all these threads about ducks. I saw this post and just signed up. I sure how to learn a lot from such knowledgeable people. I'd sure love to be shown the ropes and even get my hands dirty. Let me know what you think. Thanks.
