Source of bulk ground cover seed (green manure, cover crop, legumes) for the Eastern Cascades

I am looking for a seed supplier that carries bulk seeds for cover crop and soil conditioning that thrive in Eastern Washington. I have found a lot of good seed companies online. However, I would like to support Northwest growers where possible; and buy varieties that do well in the NW. Where have you had good luck finding seeds? Do you order from out of state? I see farm co-ops in Yakima, Seattle, and Skagit County, as well the more urban farm oriented Seattle Tilth and Seattle Co-op. Do you have experience with bulk seeds from anyone there.

Irish Eyes in Ellensburg is an option; but they seem to be more retail oriented and their bulk prices seem high, although they have good selection. Any feedback welcome. Thank you.

I bought my bulk ground cover from Territorial Seeds (they're located in Cottage Grove, OR), but I don't know enough to know if they're prices are reasonable compared to other places. I bought from them because they're local and I was already making an order and a lot of their seeds are organic. I only compared between them and High Mowing (which isn't local, but I also brought from this year).

West Coast Seeds up in BC also has cover crops. Maybe look into them, though their shipping is--I believe--higher because they're north of the boarder.

I don't know of other seed companies selling cover crops, but here are some more seed houses I've run across in our area, in case you want to know about them for other purposes .

I just watched this guy's presentation. He started out with rotation now he has gone to intercropping and plans to go to grazing the cover crop.

Dry land alfalfa seed, ladeck or sierra is not on their list. does anyone know where to get it. alfalfa can go down to 140 feet and is a basic for my food forest.

Nicole Territorial is only local in the sense that their distribution house is in cottage grove. they gets seeds from all over the world.

I was just looking at the OSSI site, the group that is supporting open pollinated seeds. This is a great thing, keeping their seeds out of the hands of the GMO gang. They have more than 250 seed companies, but so far not all listed on the site. I hope they do so soon, as it will be a great resource for those of us that want open pollinated seeds.
