My new chicken road destroyed the little trail to the turtle lot.  So we smashed rock with picks until some stairs came out.

nothing profound.  just a trail.

Once the trail gets all the way through i think i need to go back and make the trail wider in a lot of spots.


I'm supposed to walk at a rather exact pace.  Lotsa steps.  So I walk the prescription pace and end up at the end of my trail with a pick in hand.  Then do ten to fifteen minutes of sweaty work.  Then walk back.

The asian pear tree had about 20 pears last year.  Stunning.   It had over a hundred blossoms this year, and then a late frost ...  now there are 3 pears left.

The sedum is just starting to bloom.  In a few days it will be covered by dozens of different kinds of pollinators
