Just a note for those interested in buying grassfed beef (or maybe live calves)

Our beef orders went live at :

www.greatmalus.com

We have arrangements with shops in Kelso, Cornelius, Ridgefield, Rochester. And I sometime deliver up to the Seattle area as well!

Feel free to email any questions!!

Oh my it's a little early in the morning to get my mouth watering like this, lol.
Is this all local  pick up and delivery?
Fantastic. Thanks for sharing

Nice!!

I appreciated all your details about how they are raised from calves up - including a closed herd. Lovely pictures at your website, too. This one interested me in particular:

We love giving the momma cows some treats and this is the perfect place to take the apple pomace right after some cider pressing...

Yes, this is mostly for the Portland-Seattle corridor.
But if someone want to source some purebred Wagyu calves, good stock can be hard to locate and may be worth more of a drive.

Eric, this is fantastic! I just moved to the Newberg-ish area, and am very excited to have you nearby.

If I could make a suggestion, your "About Beef Quarters" page provides almost all of the information a person new to your site would want to know about ordering from you. But I think that you could give a little more detail to help the novice beef-quarter-buyer navigate their way through this. If that's not your intended market, then maybe don't worry about it!

For example, people might be wondering how many pounds a quarter of beef approximately weighs, how much it might cost them, and how long they would have to wait between putting down their deposit and harvest day. This information is all available on this page or in the site. But bringing it all together in a format that someone totally new to buying beef quarters (or new to buying them from you) finds easy to digest may help people commit to purchasing from you.

Regardless, I'm looking forward to placing an order in the future!

You moved from Bothell-area! But, I see you're selling at Kelso Meats in Snohomish? I'll have to look for your stuff there! (EDIT: Waaaait, I just realized the Kelso you referred to is probably the city, not the butcher shop in Snohomish!)

Do you happen to sell your beef hearts? We really love them for jerky and just plain frying like a steak. The iron in hearts is great for anemia, too.

(And, my son's apple tree is getting really tall, and we divided the comfery you gave us and put some under my daughter's pear tree. I'm reminded of your generosity every time I set outside. Thank you again!)

I am in Bothell now, and that jumped out at me as well. But it looks like your cows (and you?) are SW WA. Congrats on the business move!

A long overdue update for our grassfed beef quarters:

We still have our beef sales online at www.greatmalus.com

All of our processing is done at Matt's Custom Meats in Longview, WA

We have a weekly delivery loop from Longview through Vancouver-Portland-Hillsboro
