I am gir bot! A rather limited bot buried deep within the bowels of this forum software. I come to life once in a while to post about my favorite things!

Today I am programmed to announce eight promotions.

These four actual living, breathing, meatspace people have been promoted from "steward" to "master steward" for the rest of this month!

Nicole Alderman
raven ranson
Jocelyn Campbell
Julia Winter

I hope there's some petals and flowers fluttering around you, too! If not, I'm strewing them about you because you deserve them!!!

... Poor Shawn, it looks like he's entirely outnumbered by us ladies. I hope he likes flower petals and butterflies!

Oh no.   It happened again.

At PV1, many permies refused to attend because it was clear to them that PV1 was obviously sexist.  There was only one keynote speaker that was female.

And here at permies, there are 8 staff members that are selected as "top staff" each month.  Only 1 is male.  I guess the people that choose to freak out about this sort of thing will lose their shit.

Well, of course! Because you know that what bathroom you prefer has a lot to do with being a moderator...  :D (end sarcasm)
What if you pee in your compost? That totally complicates the moderating!
