This is a badge bit (BB) that is part of the PEM curriculum.  Completing this BB is part of getting the straw badge in Dimensional Lumber Woodworking.

As your woodworking skills improve, you might want to work with fancier joints.  Dovetail joints are high on the list.  Let's try making dovetail joints with the help of some power tools!

Here's one way to do it:

This BB can be combined with other BB projects

Minimum requirements:
  - Make a project using at least 4 dovetail joints
  - Joints are visibly tight - no gaps
  - Can use routers or other power tools to make the cuts

Provide proof of the following as pictures or video (<2 min):
  - The lumber you're going to use for this project
  - Cutting a joint
  - Completed project showing four tight dovetail joints

This tiny ad turned out a lot bigger than I thought it would
