Just to clarify folks, they are not "hot water" heaters, they are "cold water" heaters, or just plain water heater.

I've always been amazed at how those "reporters" on TV can butcher the English language.
I used to think that journalists were supposed to be fluent in proper English, but apparently you just have to look good.

Absolutely agree! I've been bugged by this for a long time! I don't know why Americans say "hot water heater" instead of just "water heater."

Our solar water heater takes cold water and makes it hot (duh!).
