I know a few people who have the ratio of thoughts to words completely reversed.

That's how I try to avoid conflicts. Sadly, doesn't work too well with people who actually want conflict, because it's exciting for them. Especially dangerous when you work with such people, and they find their actual job rather dull.

For me it would be all the thinking stuff, then one line that I say of the most basic thought, and the person responding something like "I don't know how you an even think up things like that!"

This is why I like permies. Very rare to get that kind of response here :D
