Who has both?  Or has tried both?  Which do you prefer and why?  I loved my Hori Hori but it is lost in the garden now.  ðŸ˜ž  The Lesche is harder to lose and has a little ledge helpful for stepping in for digging.  I don't know why exactly but I always preferred the Hori Hori.  Here is a pic of the Lesche if you are unfamiliar.

Just curious - How did you lose a knife in your garden? How big is your garden?

I like my Hori Hori. I feel cool when I use it.

I use a hori hori, but promote the Lesche as an alternate. And even mention it in my thread "Cool Tools" https://permies.com/t/61693/Cool-Tools-lesser-tools-improve

Big difference is hori hori are made for garden use, while Lesche are made for metal detecting.

But that is why the have such striking differences. Different uses to begin with.

I haven't tried either of these tools, but relate to loosing tools.  In the summer I often work until dark, or I can't take one more mosquito bite.  I think this is when things get misplaced.  I'm fairly certain my new hugel ate my hand shovel.  I found my favorite hand rake in the compost the other day, no clue how it ended up there, I wasn't using it there.
I checked out this form because of the give a way, which is cool, but a catch 22 because now I want a Hori Hori,. I think I will put it on my wish list for Christmas.  It seems like a tool that I would use a lot.

I can do it.  My garden is three city lots but it is heavily stacked and sometimes I lay down a tool and it gets covered over (I guess?).  Anyways, I can't find it, haha.

Nothing wrong with that. It is mainly about marketing, who gets what ads.

The reason I mention the Lesche in my thread is to give it exposure outside the metal detecting crowd it normally is used to.

PI day is 3.14 (march 14th) and is also einstein's birthday. And this is merely a tiny ad:
