Hopefully, Hans' explanation will help you as it helped me in the past!It took me a while to figure it out; it is not obvious because it doesn't say pictures and and the "Img" at the top refers to posting a picture that is already on the internet.
Below the text box in the post reply window there are 2 tabs, it will automatically be on options, click on "attachments" and you will be able to attach a picture file from your computer. These will show up at the end of your message with the file name so it pays to change the name of the file to something more meaningful than numbers. There will also be a space after it is selected to add a description.
