Happy Fourth of July

To me, the fourth reminds me of all the fun we have had with family and friends.

This year it will be quiet maybe watching Independence Day, the movie.

Here are some cute ideas if you are having a party:

Thanks Anne.

The 4th is my favorite holiday, in no small part due to the fact that it is my birthday as well!  Pretty appropriate for an American History teacher.

My father and I went out to dinner at Applebees, then my husband, my best friend and I went to a park to see a firework display, fun!

A little late, but happy fourth!

We held a BBQ at my house and invited all the family. It worked out well because nobody had any plans!

It was a great time.

To make up for my late celebration last year, I wanted to bump this thread a day early this year!

If you celebrate, make sure to do so responsibly! I expect everyone to keep their fingers and toes as well as their good health.

As with last year, my family is gathering at my home for a celebratory lunch. The weather looks excellent so we are going to have a BBQ!

It was really hard for dear hubby to pass up all the fireworks at Sams Club.

He is like a kid in a candy store ....

Here it will be just like another day.

If hope a lot of folks get together with friends and family though.

Went and had some lunch with friends and played dominoes with them and put my feet in the pool at her apartment.  Went to dinner out with my dad, and then my husband and I had another couple over after he came home from work, had some sweet tea and lit off a few fireworks and sparklers, little ones.
