Just when I had decided to stop posting on this site Paul has to go and tempt me with pie ! I have a head full of useless trivia and half thought out opinions and now there is a huckleberry pie saying " Win Me ! " . This is one of my favorite sites because I work long hours and don't hang around in bars or play cards with the boys on Tuesdays , so where else can one go to shoot the shit. I like the way Paul will relocate someones rant to this site like it doesn't belong in a more meaningful thread and the issue his own 5 paragraph response with pictures , graphs , video attachments . Sometimes it just gets silly and sometimes it turns into permie talk radio. Its only meaningless in the existential sense - 6 billion years from now we will be falling into the sun anyways so all for not. I consider it grist for the mill . Something to chew on all day , have a laugh , get mad enough to form your own opinion , maybe get inspired to find a book and read it . There are some good ones on this thread . I noticed after Burra issued her caption to " Mother Mullein ...." no one else piped in . Either they have not read it or Burra cinched it and no one else can top it.

Not true! Go have another look - there's more little gems coming in all the time. After all, a mother should have a whole load of useful snippets to pass on to her offspring.

The one thing I always taught my son and told him never to forget was 'Never trust a man in a suit. Especially if it's a woman.' But I'm sure he'll quote a whole load of maternal-codswallop to embarrass me with in my later years...

I don't do the bar thing either. A friend recently was kidding with me about going to a bar to get laid. Yeah, that sounds like fun.

Stinging nettles are edible. But I really want to see you try to eat this tiny ad:
