Hi lovely people,

I am a single 34 white female.  I live with my 3 mutts ( 1 large one medium and one small) on 2.2 acres in Dorchester County, SC.  I am looking for a soul mate or a roommate who cares about gardening and self sustainabilitywebpage

.  I have land that I bought, but I need a partner in crime to do most projects for cheap.  I can sew, and I am learning to garden.  I am free spirited, love fires, 420 friendly, drink to celebrate and not commiserate.  I am wanting to start a precious plastics workshop on my property in addition to adding a small pond and definitely gardens.  I think there is room for goats and a pig or two.  I am very open minded and just want someone to come on down, or up, or over,  and enjoy fishing and the beach with me.  I love the water first and foremost.

I have a 2 bed and 2 bath house, so a room mate for starts would be ideal.  Its paradise in my part of the country, I guarantee you that.

Used to be progressive, now dropped heavily into libertarian after the elections shook out.  Love 3d printing and crypto.  Love arts and am artistic.

Anyone want to come hang out?

I tried to add a pic, hopefully it worked out

Hello,
I'm an herbalist from the mountains of NC.... but I winter in SC and will likely be down there a lot more soon due to some family stuff.  My family settled in the coastal Carolinas over 300 years ago, so even though I was born in the mountains, the coast and low country is just as much home.  So.... I have property and am not looking to move or move in with anyone right now... but we can chat if you like.  I'm not visually artistic... but I write and play a dozen or so instruments.

Hi!  I would love to make some new friends. I personally think that I have great music taste, but I am more of a spectator in that arena.  What are some of your favorites?

I grew up in NC and lived in Boone for a short while.  I have a bad ankle which is why I prefer the coast these days.  My long term plan has always included purchasing property in the mountains of N.C. im partial to Pisgah myself.  Some of my favorite people live in the Piedmont in Pittsboro.

Email me if you would like.  Tazzare@gmail.com

Good afternoon and Happy New Year Melissa, it is very nice to meet you!

My name is Hamilton, and I am a 32 year old swm, living fairly nearby in Sumter, and I am also seeking a relationship.

I would love to get to know more like-minded folks nearby.

I currently live in a 3/2 house on .5 acres. I dream of buying a homestead in the Mountains one day with a group of like minded friends. We are actually actively pursing this goal as part of a cooperative company.

Since I can be impatient, I have already started urban homesteading at my current home. It is truly amazing what one can accomplish in a small amount of space. I live "alone" with my dog, two cats, 10 chickens, 6 fish.

Please send me a PM if you are interested in getting to know me better.

With you on the libertarian :D
Precision plastics... might be big bucks... if it's the kind of business where you can repair broken plastics you'll have more customers than you can swing a stick at. I'm 35, single, guy, no skills :D. But can't move from my home spot here in Oxford/Franklinton NC. I've got some land with rocks on it and a yearning to make those rocks into a house that'll last longer than these timber built outbuildings and barns all over the place. You sound lovely (your pic aint showin no more) and I hope you find someone else who is also laid back and wanting to have a partner in crime. God bless,
Joseph, or JOE

Hi Melissa!

Your proposition is awesome and I might be a good match.

I have spent the last three years getting ready to get out homesteading and I had a deal with a friend for some land that fell through, and haven't yet been able to locate any small parcels for sale.

I have skills in multiple disciplines that are highly appropriate.  I have a large amount of all kinds of gear and tools.  I can provide solar power and want to get completely off-grid.  I'm a back to the land hippie type with similar views to yours on cannabis and alcohol.  I'm a multi instrument musician, (sometime band member) and songwriter as well as being talented at other arts including drawing and painting and, well, really, anything I try and spend enough time with I get good at.   Musically, I like a lot of genres but like classic rock the most, mostly for the reason that classic rock is the only genre that routinely uses all the other genres, so listening to classic rock to get to hear a little of everything.   If I have a distaste for music it is usually because of negativity.  I tend to not like death-metal/ thrash rock or rap for that reason, but if it's not negative I'm willing to give it a try.  I just want music to lift my spirit, not

I have experience with gardening and raising animals.  I absolutely love goats and have raised many, but am not too big on swine.  (I suppose I could tolerate them if I couldn't persuade you otherwise) (Chickens and goats is the combination to have IMO).

I use an ebike and trailer instead of any traditional vehicle, but it is never bad to have a pickup around or perhaps a utility ATV.  If I don't have to buy land I could swing one or both of those.  I also have a second ebike if you're into giving that a try.  I don't hate cars, but I do hate "car culture."

I'm glad you have found the libertarian philosophy.   I find the fact that you were able to change or clarify your political view to be amazingly impressive. I'm also a libertarian who cured himself of the insanity of progressivism.   I'd love to hear more about what changed your mind. I'm trying to figure out if that or your awesome good looks are the more impressive and probably will never figure that out.  Freckled redhead with blue eyes?  Quite my type.

So, you know, I came here to learn more about permaculture and wasn't expecting a "singles" section.  I read through a dozen or so threads single women have posted.  A couple were interesting, but all had, if not a deal-killer at least some negatives.  But the biggest thing I didn't like was how many didn't respond to the guys who answered.

You have what I need and I've got what you need, it looks like to me.

I don't necessarily mind if it only works out as room-mate, but have a bit of concern about my future if the right guy does come along.  If you had interest in creating a planned community that would alleviate a lot of that concern.

So yeah it looks like it could work from my end.

You can email davidteverett@yahoo.com if nothing has worked out for you yet!

Thanks for the opportunity!

David

Hello, I'm 29 and have always had interest in a homestead. I was a roofer for a couple years in my you get days, then I worked in concrete, onto welding, and for the past 5 years I have been a glazier (commercial window installer) and became a journeyman in the union. And now I'm a foreman. As I grow in life and knowledge I constantly feel like there is more to life than what I see. A dream of a free people from the system and government, taxes and headache of financial burden. I long to live a life of peace and harmony as our ancestors did. I watch shows, documentaries, read books and learned skills. But I don't think I could do this alone. I am looking for like minded people to make this dream a reality

Jokes aside!
my name is Tyler, 25, Ive been interested in the homesteading/offgrid/ permaculture stuff for a while. Not done much gardening, building and fixing things is more my skillset. I definitely plan to have a large garden wherever I end up, and would love to learn. Im old school, introverted, very much just want the quiet and simple life. I love all animals, even had a pet squirrel, and rehabbed a few raccoons.

I value freedom and independence highly, any potential partner would need to be similar. Im very skeptical of modern medicine, but not to the extreme, I am unvaccinated though.

Ive got no social media, I really dont take part in that stuff.

I dont take pictures of myself often, so this one is 3 years old. Still look the same, just a bit more facial hair and muscle
