Would like to try milling some grains without spending hundreds... I do have a Kitchenaid mixer and Vitamix if someone has the grain mill attachments they don't use.

Can pay via paypal or trade for seeds, quality handmade children's clothing from my small shop or ???

Thank you for any leads!

Wow! I had no idea the attachments were so expensive!!

Here's what I found on an ebay search:

https://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_from=R40&_trksid=p2380057.m570.l1313&_nkw=vitamix+blender+grain+mill+attachment&_sacat=0

I've got my "dream" mill in my amazon wish list...but it's even more costly than the attachments you're looking at:

https://www.amazon.com/Country-Living-Hand-Grain-Mill/dp/B003UNNE3E/ref=as_li_ss_tl?s=home-garden&ie=UTF8&qid=1547706042&sr=1-2&keywords=country+living+grain+mill&linkCode=sl1&tag=scprepper-20&linkId=d876a44f9809859c61602382ccf2d449&language=en_US

Have you looked at your local Craigslist? Or used restaurant supply stores?

I've gotten a couple grain mills through shopgoodwill.com.

There are a lot of people watching for grain mills there, but I've noticed they tend to search by name. For a while, I was visiting the site every day, and could skim through the photos of every new listing. (Back then, I had a LOT of time on my hands.) The grain mills I bought had very few bidders, because the name was either mistyped, or wasn't in english, and therefore wouldn't show up on a normal search.

I don't know if that's an option for you, but it might be worth checking.

I've been watching Craigslist. Living very rural I'd have to travel almost two hours to a resteraunt supply store.  I'd rather purchase used if I can find the option. That mill is beautiful though! Thanks for the wishlist add.

I picked a hand cranked one up at a junk shop for maybe $20.  It seems that half of the junk shops I walk into have one.

I wish we had a better selection of second hand around here, our best option is currently in it's last days. I haven't caught my favorite place open since last spring, probably due to the owner being at risk. Thinking to search out some other areas craigslist and offer shipping.

I have a magic mill II I’ve tried to sell locally and can’t. It’s in my queue to put it up in the flea market here.

If you’re interested, let me know.

For what it is worth. I have a Kitchenaid grain mill attachment. I am not impressed with it.

We have a VitaMix and bought the grain jar to replace the Magic Mill. We use it all the time, our bread is a combo of store-bought all purpose flour and HM whole wheat, which suits us.

The Magic Mill works, but it's noisier and messier than the VitaMix.
