I had a post deleted and I'm not sure why?

It was about using black landscape fabric to kill off weeds and grass to create a garden.  I got no messages about it.  How do I find out why it was deleted?

Wow, OK.  I had no idea that mentioning having used it in the past as a brief aside unrelated to the topic was enough to get a thread with a bunch of replies deleted.  Noted.

Permies is a place to talk about ways that are organic or better.

Herbicides aren't.  

What I like about permies and permaculture is that the solutions we find are often less expensive and less effort than the modern chemical methods.
