It’s Friday and I felt like sharing some of my nature photography. This was taken on a reef a few hundred yards of the coast of Palawan, an island in The Philippines, back in 2015. I was in the middle of a photography course called ‘Blurs and Unsharps’. As you can see, much of this picture is blurred, but that doesn’t mater. If everything was sharp, it would loose something - what that thing is, is hard to explain. That was the last time I studied online before my PDC.

It’s been another busy week. I’m cramming three weeks of Geoff Lawton’s PDC into every week, playing catch up, as I joined half way through. I’m really struggling. I love what he has to say but my mind can’t focus on video learning. There’s not enough variety with only one presenter. The animations are excellent, but 90% of the time it’s Geoff standing in front of a chalkboard talking and sketching. So I’ve mixed it up with more BB’s. At the start of the week I didn’t think I’d ever attempt PEP1, but now it’s a goal of mine. Like a permaculture design, my ideas are subject to change.

A lot of people cry when they cut onions. The trick is not to form an emotional bond. This tiny ad told me:
