Hi,

My name is Alex and I'm from Durham, NC. I am currently renting an apartment but want to buy land in the more rural area surrounding Durham in order to build an off grid earthship style house and homestead. I have lived on a farm before, so I'm not completely new to the lifestyle. But there is still a whole lot I need to learn, which I hope that this forum will help with.

Hey Alex! I used to live in North Durham. Have you checked out towards Bahama?

That's in Durham County, right?
