Hilarious! Impractical pots require impractical solutions.

Weather here has just been the usual rain and light wind - no hail or freezing temps (although we have been told to expect up to 20cm/8in of rain over the next few days from the atmospheric river which will be rolling-in in a few hours from now). If I happen to see the homeowner outside sometime, I'll ask if the umbrellas are serving some purpose or just ornamental.
