Does anyone have a source for sticker type labels that can be used in a home printer that can be easily removed once the container contents have been removed?
I am looking to label jars, canning lids, and wine bottles for various gifts and selling home canned goods.
Really good question Kate! Labels that don't come off jars easily are one of my pet hates!
I use gummed brown tape for my labels, but of course it won't go through a printer. I did think about getting some ink stamps made, ("Strawberry jam", "Rhubarb chutney"....) but I don't really make enough to justify the expense. I suppose one could make a wooden block stamp with talent and time.....
They dissolve in water. I use them all the time. They wash off very easily. I don’t know if you could use them in a printer - I guess it would have to be one that accepts rolls of stickers.
