Are you trying to use the [img] tag?

The format is [img]link[/img]

E.g. [img]https://permies.com/t/170857/i/170/FB0B2F0E-E21C-408C-AEE2-D0C64D5639BD.jpeg[img] link’s to an image on this site
And [img]https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/9/91/Maler_der_Grabkammer_des_Sennudem_001.jpg[/img] link’s to an external image

The most common mistakes are typos and spaces.
