What is this????

Does anyone know what this is??

Based on that picture, it looks like a series of old puffball fungi that fruited out a while ago... potentially on some of that disturbed soil.

It looks like dried up dog vomit fungus, which is actually a slime mold. The fluffy brown interior is the spores. It grows on decaying plant matter. The live stuff looks like whitish/yellowish foam and it moves ever so slowly around for a few days then dries up and produces the spores.

How would you get rid of it? Thanks for your respond!

I don't even try to get rid of it. It's not doing any harm in my garden and is probably doing a lot of good by breaking down plant matter. And using any kind of fungicide in my garden is a big NO since I don't want to kill all the beneficial fungi in the soil.

Looks like Earth Star fungi to me. Type of puffball.

I agree with everyone, don't try to get rid of it.

I had something similar if not the same and I just let it be.
