(hammering this out - so this could change a lot in the next few weeks)

Pay for the position begins April 1 although a person could choose to prep their plot January 1 through March 31, unpaid, if they like.  This is a paid seven month position, starting April 1 and ending on October 31.

This will be a contract position.  This means that the gardener will:

  - supply a W9
  - work 40 hours per week, and supply an invoice for hours worked twice a month
  - set their own hours
  - supply most of their own tools

They will be doing gardening work for me.  So, accomplishing the project goals would have to be within my direction/values.

Either party can end this arrangement for any or no reason.

An adjacent acre will be provided for camping, materials/tools storage, etc.  Extra people on the acre will need to pay for their time on the property.  It is assumed that the gardener (and entourage) will live off site unless they make other arrangements.

If the gardener hires help, that is between the gardener and the helper.  I think some gardeners will do this solo and others will supply their own entourage.

I FEEL suave and debonair. Why can't you be as supportive as this tiny ad?
