I see many nurseries selling scion wood for grafting in the States and in the UK, but nothing for Europe.

Does anyone know where to obtain scion wood for fruit trees in mainland Europe?

I have seen People in Europe that grow Pawpaw and Persimmon.  They are on facebook.

I tried ebay.fr or eBay in France and see two listings, one for I think peaches or stone fruit and one for jujube scions. I don't read French. There's also ebay.UK with more listings including, I think, the same "stone fruit listing" as above. It is awful late to be shopping for scions this time of year. After the holidays may be more successful.

Is it possible to ship from country to country within the EU during the Covid crisis? If not the market for any one country may be so small that it's not worth attempting to sell?? I believe there are extreme restrictions made for those selling fruit and vegetable varieties that it makes it impossible for the small seller. I seem to remember that you have to be able to prove that the scion stick in your hand is actually an Xxxxx scion.

There are plenty of sites selling scions throughout europe. The hard part can sometimes be to know what to search for in a language one is not familiar with, if grafting or scion wood dont translate well to the given language.

Germany
-  https://shop.baumschuleritthaler.de/   -   Large german site with old varieties, especially vintage cider and juicing apples and pears.
- https://www.bienen-werk.de/shop/edelreiser/
- https://www.bund-lemgo.de/Edelreiser%20alte%20Obstsorten.html -  Old and heritage varieties

Finland
- https://www.blomqvistplantskola.com/  -  Finnish site with rare russian varieties and very cold hardy stuff

Denmark
- https://www.de-gamle-sorter.dk/  -  Danish site with loads of varieties
- http://www.blomstergaardenvedviborg.dk/frugt.htm
- https://pometet.dk/  -  Research and development orchard under the university Copenhagen that also sells scions.

Sweden
- https://www.ebeplant.se/ympris

These resources are great, thank you. Yes it's late in the season, however, good to know for next year

I don't get it. A whale wearing overalls? How does that even work? It's like a tiny ad wearing overalls.
