I thought had a large number of Paulownia seedlings on my two properties, but now I think I am dealing with Catalpa.
The leaves stink when crushed so I believe the trees are of the Southern Catalpa variety

Evidently they come back from being coppiced, and even grow extra large leaves.
I was already transplanting them into a new bed I'm thinking of as my biomass belt.
So far it has Locusts, Southern Catalpa, grapevines, Rose of Sharon and Box Elder trees.

I just moved to Texas last year, and learned about this tree from a local just a few days ago. He brought me some cuttings for my goats. He said that it can be cut over and over again. He said it's nearly impossible to kill, down here where it thrives, anyway. But, the leaves on this tree were a lot rounder than what I am seeing in your photos, more like a very wide heart shape. Google images has some good photos of the leaves.

Lots of "weedy" type trees can be coppiced, though, so even if it's not that, it seems to be working for your purposes. Biomass is biomass.

There are at least 3 trees it could be, and each of those responses similarly to coppice or pollarding.
I am thinking of adding some Kentucky Coffee, sweetgum, and redbud to the mix.
These are all "messy" trees, meaning they produce lots of flowers, leaves, and seed pods.
I am often surprised to find relatively short/slender/younger trees producing seed, and I hope to train some of these trees into that form.
So far I've limited myself to free trees, because I can't trust my neighbor to not poison them.
Aside from adopting seedlings, I also hope to get more trees just by mulching with tree litter.

Doesn't look much like Catalpa binonioides to me. It does look like that 'Tree of Heaven' though, which stinks when you crush the leaves. They grow 6+ feet a year in the first three years, down here in Texas. Coppice great! As in, they will pop right back up after you cut them.

Whoa!
The link makes me happy to say I am certain it's not tree of heaven.
The leaves are not at all compound, and it grows well with others.
